I miss him.....

I miss President Hinkley. He was such a funny guy and told things just as they are. I found this quote and love it. I think the older I get the more I am learning to live for the day. It seems if we worry to much about the future or fret on the past we are losing every precious moment we have right now. There are so many people going through hard things with the economy and all the craziness in the world but i always say it is what it is we all keep on moving:)

"I don't worry too much about the future, and I don't worry very much about the past. The past is gone, and you can't change, you can't correct it. The future, you can anticipate, but you can't necessarily do very much about it. It is the present you have to deal with. Reach out for every good opportunity to do what you ought to do."

Such a great reminder, I loved him too. It will be a great reunion to greet him again, as well as the Prophet Joseph. I'll never forget our stake play, it made me feel so close to the early saints.

Thanks for the great reminder, I miss and love him too. It will be such a great reunion to greet him and the Prophet Joseph some day! Thanks for the memories we made in the stake play, it really deepened my appreciation for the early saints. ;-)
